My lifestyle photo sessions take place predominantly outdoors, often around sunset when the light feels soft and golden (although this isn’t a requirement).

Each session is thoughtfully planned in collaboration with you — from location and styling to the overall feel you’re envisioning. I offer a curated list of favorite locations throughout Marin, and I’m always happy to guide you in choosing a setting that photographs beautifully.

That said, authenticity is at the heart of my work. I’m especially drawn to sessions that take place somewhere meaningful to you; a favorite beach, hiking trail, neighborhood park, or anywhere your family naturally spends time together. The goal isn’t simply to photograph you somewhere pretty, but to capture you sharing real moments in spaces that already feel like yours.

When it comes to the session itself, my approach is relaxed, laid back, and connection-focused. Rather than stiff posing, I gently guide you through prompts and simple activities that encourage movement, playfulness, and genuine interaction. There’s always plenty of space for spontaneity and the in-between moments to unfold naturally.

Sessions are child-led when needed, easygoing in pace, and rooted in presence over perfection. The end result is a rich, heartfelt gallery filled with genuine moments between you and your loved ones.
