My goal is to bring the spirit of candid, natural lifestyle portraits that I practice in my portrait photography business to schools. Instead of relying on awkward poses and forced smiles, my lighthearted stress-free approach focuses on connecting with children to allow them to be themselves. The final results are simple, modern, and timeless!
What Sets Your Portraits Apart From Most School Portrait Companies?
Unlike many of the big box companies that focus on large setups, awkward posing, and an impersonal photo experience, my photo days are meant to be more personal from start to finish. I exclusively work with smaller schools (no more than 100 kids) to ensure that I can give each child the attention they deserve and provide a fun, laidback environment for them to express themselves. Instead of using flash the way many larger companies do, I use a natural light and a simple, plain background so that the focus is truly on your child.
What Can I Expect If We Book With You?
I am personally involved from start to finish to ensure that photo day runs smoothly for the school, parents, and children. Everything from photo day preparations to ordering processes are done online to create an easy and seamless process. Each child will receive an online album with 2-5 images, in both black and white. Families can choose which photos they would like to have printed or downloaded. You can view my prices and printing options here.
Parents are given a 1-2 week gallery viewing period to place their online orders. The final orders are delivered directly to the school within 4 weeks of photo day.
In addition to this, I also provide:
Equipment and staffing needed for the day
All high resolution digital files to use for yearbooks, website, school advertising, school ID’s, or however else the school may need.
Staff and class photos as needed by each school.
